Warm-Up |

- Introduce yourself and ask basic questions to get your client to speak English informally. Get to know your client (i.e. past English learning, current English learning practices, etc).

Explain Gabby’s Methodology |
Briefly explain our methodology. Read this to your client (it does not have to be exactly these words, you can paraphrase):
- “Gabby’s Neuro-Language Training (NLT) uses brain-based approaches to improve students’ speaking and listening skills, as these are the foundations of effective spoken communication. Using speed, repetition, and pronunciation training, NLT encourages students’ brains to respond to English information quickly, helping to reduce the process of translating it into their language. ”
- Ask if the client has any questions about our patent-pending methodology.

Sprints |
Goal: Familiarize the client with the Gabby method and sprint process and demonstrate the value of working with a personal Coach.
- Conduct a UG Speed Level 1 sprint.
- Conduct a UG Builders Level 1 sprint.
- If time allows, show student UG Structure and UG Mastery sprints (shared screen).
- For each sprint, read the cues and score the client’s answers for accuracy. (Refer to the Gabby Scoring Rubric for details.)
- After each sprint, share your screen with the client and review questions with a score lower than 10. Have the client answer cued statements again now that they can read them on the screen. Provide specific feedback and encouragement.
- If the client struggles with a question or phrase (especially with pronunciation difficulties), prompt them to perform reps (repetitions of increasing speed) by repeating the word or phrase three or four times, faster each time. Use Color Vowel strategies as much as possible with Ss to demonstrate Gabby’s approach to pronunciation training.
- With the client’s input, add at least one question per sprint to their Target List for further self-training review.
- Record any pertinent feedback notes in Gabby at the end of each sprint.
- The trial session allows you to demonstrate a personal Coach's value and is less about running multiple sprints. During the sprint review, take your time to show off your warm, friendly, supportive teaching style!

End |
- Thank your student. Make sure the student understands how the sprints and their daily self-training work.
- Immediately after your session ends, send your student a follow-up message on the Gabby platform.
- Once again, the follow-up message is your opportunity to demonstrate the value of the Gabby method and having a personal Coach. This is an essential part of the trial student process.
